Diet for your blood

The diet that is determined by the type of blood in your body is known as the blood type diet and it was introduced by Katherine Zeratsky, who is the dietician of Mayo Clinic. She does claim that the blood type diet does not really help in balancing your weight or help in pumping nutrients into your body, but it can help the blood in different ways. There have been various studies to show that there exists a relation between the food we eat and the kind of effects it has on our blood. Understanding the blood type diet will help your body to absorb the food that is akin to it and can in the process be beneficial to your health. Some studies also show that consuming a blood type diet can help reduce weight. Most of the theory of the blood type diet depends on the reactions of proteins and lectins that can be seen on the surfaces of the foods and each of them react differently, to each blood type. Keeping your blood stream healthy with a low sodium diet and a proper and balanced hypoglycemia diet goes a long way in controlling the sugar levels in the blood.
